1. Data controller
The data controller is Suomi.Best (the web service at suomi.best). Contact regarding personal data is handled through the contact form.
2. What data we collect
We only collect the data we need to provide the service:
- Contact form — name, phone number or email address, requested service, city, car make and a free-form message. We also collect technical details (such as the company the request was sent from) to process the request.
- WhatsApp conversation — clicking the WhatsApp button opens a conversation between you and the company. We do not store the content of the conversation ourselves.
- Technical data — the theme choice (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Personal data is used to:
- process and forward quote requests to the relevant companies (consent);
- provide, develop and protect the service (legitimate interest);
- prevent bot traffic using Google reCAPTCHA, if enabled (legitimate interest).
4. Disclosure of data
- Quote requests are forwarded to the relevant companies.
- Form data may be stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet via Google Apps Script (Google LLC, in accordance with the EU data protection agreements).
- We never sell personal data to third parties.
5. Retention period
We keep a quote request only for as long as it is relevant and for a reasonable period afterwards (at most 24 months), unless the law requires longer retention.
6. Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The theme choice is stored in your browser's localStorage and is not sent to our server. If Google reCAPTCHA is enabled, it may store its own cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the data concerning you;
- request correction or deletion of your data;
- request restriction of or object to the processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
You can submit your requests through the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman .
8. Security
The website uses HTTPS encryption. Only authorised persons have access to personal data, and processing follows appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this privacy policy as needed. The current version is always available on this page.
